Position Overview

The Financial Systems team provides business application and user servicing support for many key financial systems of Global Atlantic in addition to providing support for new initiatives.  This role will provide primary application support for Hyperion HFM, Expense Management, Planning and Essbase including the future build out of enhanced functionality. 

The objectives are to maintain and develop applications required to support the Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Workforce Planning, Essbase Cubes and Cap Ex data and metadata environment in Oracle’s EPM suite. Tasks may also include the construction of integrations between sources to load data and metadata, and create automations as needed to support the movement of data to external sources as well as populate EPMA artifacts as needed.


  • Facilitate daily administration of Oracle EPM environment as well as ensure compliance with policies, procedures and controls
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, communication and implementation tasks.
  • Assist with metadata (EPMA) and data to support Hyperon Financial Management, Hyperion Planning, Workforce Planning and Cap Ex using FDMEE and ODI as needed.
  • Assist in the development and support of Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Workforce Planning Module, Hyperion Capital Expenditures Module and other native Hyperion Planning applications.
  • Support the addition and maintenance of users in Shared Services via provisioning.
  • Perform Hyperion application build tasks and activities (calculation build and modification using Calculation Manager, test and revision, business rules, web-forms, task lists, work flow, etc…).
  • Optimize application and business rule performance based on results of Unit, Integration, Performance and other test phases as prescribed.
  • Assist with Hyperion Report development as needed using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Assist with the development of system documentation as required.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal resources as needed.
  • Maintain enterprise system and process design standards as well as system documentation.
  • Provide support, research and resolve issues for Oracle EPM environment.
  • Support any migration to the cloud on both Planning and HFM modules.
  • Manage future projects to upgrade application as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field
  • Experience working with version or later is preferred, as well as current product certification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
