This role will have responsibility for helping develop and drive the electronic business and data interfaces associated with our growing life and annuity business.  Successful incumbent will partner closely with operational teams, sales colleagues, life and annuity industry colleagues, and key vendor partners. 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive development of industry standard distribution automation solutions across Global Atlantic’s Life and Annuity platforms
  • Provide expertise and strategic solutions to operations partners in both life and annuity lines of business
  • Partner with TPAs to define and implement industry standard automation capabilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on B2B supported services for internal partners and project teams – presenting capabilities, assessing impacts, and strategic recommendations
  • Relationship Management – develop partnerships with key distributor back-office contacts as well as life and annuity industry peers
  • Work with the life and annuity industry working groups to prioritize and drive standardization as well as provide feedback loop regarding the quality of our service capabilities to our organization


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum of three years of life and annuity insurance industry experience in an operational and/or, technology role
  • Experience with life and annuity industry standard operational technology (e.g. DTCC, ACORD, IRI)
  • Strong knowledge of the business and operational workflows related to life insurance and annuity products
  • Ability to work independently as well in a close team environment as both leader and collaborator
  • Strong level of adaptability, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Advanced problem solving skills and creative thinking
  • 10% to 20% offsite travel may be necessary
